Pulse is the Youth Meeting at the Golden Grove Salvation Army. A time of friendship, worship, discussion and lunch.

Held once a month on a Sunday morning from 11:30am to 12:30pm with a delicious and cheap lunch from 12:30pm to 1:30pm.

Next Pulse: Sunday 11th July 11:30am – 1:30pm.

Zeal Pulse is back for 2010!

The band is back and raring to go along with games and discussion.

Though focused on youth, everyone is welcome. See you there.

Well it’s been a great year for Zeal in 2009.  Huge gaming at Connect, service at Impact, band and community at Pulse, discussion and encouragement at Equip – and lots of other activities and events.

What did you enjoy?  What would you like for 2010?

As we start putting together the plan for 2010 we would love to hear what you enjoyed in 2009 and what you’d like to do in 2010? Let us know what you think in the comments.

Stuck for ideas then maybe check out Dreamhack - a 10,000 person LAN just held in Sweden.

We had a great time at Connect and Pulse last Saturday…. with pizza for both lunch and tea!

Congrats to the girls team who won the pizza challenge by half a point.  But I think the boys recovered with dessert – making it a draw.

We’ll have to make sure we patent the ‘chicken and chips’ pizza so Pizza Hut pay us royalties when they start selling them.

Well we’ve given you (and the couches) enough time to recover from the All Night LAN – so Zeal Connect is back on this Saturday from 10am – 5pm.

All the normal details apply:

Who:   All youth 10 and older

After Connect stick around for the cafe tea and then Zeal Pulse.

The band is back and it’s guaranteed to be a fun night.

Cost:     Pulse is free, Cafe tea $2 – $5

At the next Zeal Connect on 6th June Matt will be shooting a documentary for the TTG Council.  

As part of Matt’s studies the documentary will report on the Zeal activities as a local community event and may be featured on the Tea Tree Gully TV program on Channel 31.

So come along all you aspiring actors (not just Colin) and get your mug on tv!  It would be great to get a huge crowd for the day.

Also, everyone under 18 will need to complete a filming permission form and have a parent sign it.  You can download the form here or sign as you arrive on Saturday.

Pulse is on again after Connect.  Cafe tea for a couple of bucks is on between 5pm and 6pm and then the BAND IS BACK for the first time in 2009.

It’s always a great night with some games, some discussion and music.  As always the canteen will be open for snacks and drinks.
