Sorry if I was a bit late, but I would like to maybe setup the Wii for a Mario Marathon? That would be great, because we can play Mario Kart, Mario Party, SMB1, SMB3, New Super Mario Bros and Super Mario Galaxy 2. I’ve already planned it out, so no worries! I’ve got my SD Card with the data we need! We can play 4-player quest on NSMBWii, or play Co-op Mode in Galaxy 2. We can scedule that before or after the GH Comp! Please say yes! Thx.

Hey guys, I have noticed over a number of Zeal Connect events, that the PC players like to play Age Of Empires (amongst other things). I have in my possession, Age Of Empires 3. I don’t know if you have already been playing this or not, but if not, I can bring the game in for people to play, including the two expansion packs.

This game uses a fair amount of graphical detail, so it needs a relatively new PC to be played on. We may use one of Zeal’s newest computers for this.

I also have Red Alert 3. If you are genuinely interested in playing either of these games, please post a quick comment to us here, otherwise they will not be brought to the event. I may have to bring my PC for RA3, as it requires Internet activation.

Hey guys, I need to know what sorts of Xbox competitions you want to do, as we haven’t really had any comps going the last 2 or so times at Zeal. I heard someone wanted to bring back Halo comps, which I am happy to do again if people are interested. If people want a Modern Warfare 2 comp on, we can arrange that too (might need to chat to Sonny, because I don’t really know the game to set one up). We might even give a bonus prize away to the first place teams that have a parent or two in them.

If anyone else has an idea for comps, let us know, so we can get some action happening, and prizes given away.

Can’t wait for it. Also, Dylan, Cam, Kayn, David and Ben won’t be coming, because they’re going to be on holiday, which evens out the playing field for Halo 3/Guitar Hero tourneys. So definitely hold some of’em.

MW2 does not require harddrives since there is no map packs available so the only thing needed is a mem card to store data for accounts. and also, how big were those LCD’s and how much

Yeah… Zeal Connect will get a couple of copies of MW 2 for the XBoxes. I guess we’ll have to try it and see if it will run with just a memory card and no hard disk on the XBox. Has anyone else tried that?

Well the game was given to me from school so you dont need to disks. The game runs right of my usb and nothing needs to be installled. If you did want to buy it it comes from eb games but you need steam and so that would make things difficult so yeah…… But I have verson 1.6 and we have played it a the lans before. Remember im josh lol.

Hey… Just to let you know we have found the missing Halo 3.

As we were packing up after Connect on Saturday we found one of the Connect copies of Halo 3 had two disks in it!

Hi Josh.

The band is normally on at Pulse – which runs after Connect with tea from 5pm – 6pm and then Pulse with the band at 6pm – 8pm.

However, the band is having the week off on Sept – so there won’t be a band that night. It will still be a great night – with a focus on food – so you’re welcome to come along.

Sorry Galen – it was a typo that has been corrected now. October is a Parents Night and not an All Night LAN.

It’s just as much fun – except we get to go home to bed!
